Uhhh, are you serious? 116 megabytes? Did you suddenly started using crapawesome textures and 3D models or something? Are those 116 megabytes mostly sound files? if so, repack without goddamn sounds, anyone?

Have you read the last few posts?
I'm going to be converting to an ogg soon,
 which should make this a lot smaller.

Rapidshare seems to only allow the first ten downloads,
 so I'll probably be uploading somewhere else.

EDIT:

It seems the files I tried uploading to Mediafire went through somehow,
 since they are all there today.
All seven attempts...

For your distribution troubles, you might consider packaging it in a torrent and seeding it yourself. Frequent updates make this distribution scheme less desirable, so I suggest you do it mostly for long term release candidates.

I agree. This is incredibly awesome work in relation to relatively short time Orange has worked on it. I mean, compare the screenies from the OP to now.

So I suppose I'll be ogging on Monday then.
These libraries are frustrating.
I've been trying to link up vorbis all day,
 but it is just a nightmare of files.
Also, the code I got seems to be written for C.

Anyways, I'm going to work on other things until then.
I think I'll start with the listed physics changes.


EDIT:

I've added in a new function for changing materials.
Everything is much less complicated now.

I've made it so that soil and stuff that stacks too high will collapse,
 but I've yet to see it in action, so I won't green it out yet.

I've unearthed an issue where trees react to minor temperature variations
 as if the seasons were changing every night.
I had thought up a system to specifically prevent this,
 but I must have never added it in.

I can't wait for the ogg change.
I will be able to lift off this veil of uselessness and go back to being pleased.

I've worked on my game some more,
 and success is mixed.

The point collapse system doesn't seem to work,
 same for another function I was working on.

I have however dropped a few more functions from my code,
 and it still works well.

The terraces are finally working correctly,
 so I can finally try adding the vines to them.

I wanted to hook up my VGA laptop to my S-Vid/Analog/HDMI projection TV.

The guys at Best Buy said it was practically impossible.

The guys at RadioShack wanted me to buy a VGA to DVI adapter for $20,
 and a DVI to HDMI cable for $75.

Always nice to look back, and just compare where you came from to how far you've come... very impressive Orange :)

In other news, my computer, after the reset, seems to be working just fine, so hopefully I can get back to checking this out regularly.
