Why bother with a virus and having to have it activated by your inheritor blablabla when you can just have a mass-emailer rigged to send an email in 8 days to everyone that might care about your death (or just everyone on the internet if you dont mind about spam ), and have yourself reset the timer once a week or so so that the email is only sent if you dont reset for 8 days (which would mean you are dead). The email would contain:

"Dear friends, family, internet residents and forumnites,
If you are reading this, it means I am dead. The cause of my death was most likely (insert whatever here, probably something improbably awesome like being assassinated by a supervillain for trying to stand against him. Just so that the whole internet remembers you forever more ). Do not mourn my death, but cherish my memory. Blablabla Sincerely yours, Some Dead Guy"

I would make it so that the resetter is made to go for 2-5 months, as I can see myself becoming incapacitated/computerless for more than 8 days at a time.

...How would we ever know if somebody... God forbid... died? Their account would just sit there, unaccessed, forever... and we wouldn't know. They'd be forgotten about, eventually, and we'd just carry on, replacing them with new forumites, as if they hadn't existed to begin with.

I've been thinking about this.

I have reached a conclusion:
The best way is by making a worm, that may or may not be reproduce to the whole internet, which has a notification function, and I'll tell my inheritor to make the worm says 'PRAISE ALLAH! INDONESIAWARMINISTER IS DEAD!'

It will shook the internet, GLORIOUSLY... :grins:

Oh, that is a brilliant idea. I'll probably think of something more trollish to announce my death to the world in the future, but I've got to do that some time in my lifespan.

Even better, I'm going to make it backfire by not logging in, like on a honeymoon or after my computer dying or something.

I watched a Let's Play of MegaMari by LuizPrower today. It's a apparently a MegaMan clone with Touhou characters.

Pretty neat, even though I don't know anything about Touhou.

Try looking at Scarlet Symphony.
It's a Touhouvania. Which means it's like Castlevania with the Touhou difficulty and bullet patterns, flying, and the Touhou characters.
