If you are confirming Muchenik's DoT, and Mr.Person is guaranteeing his town status, are we lynching the wrong person? I get the necessity, but I hate to lynch a townie for any reason.

It could still be an elaborate ploy by a cultist DoT to give himself and his buddy credibility.

That's the sign of an abusive boyfriend, Toony... you don't have to listen to him.

I think I got here just in time...

Okay, people, I am bringing attention to 2 Pms I got.

Hello Humaan,

It is good to know that you are safe. I am the town disciple of truth. I was able to get your role of human heroic guard and know who I can trust.

I will do my best to try to keep you from getting lynched.

wait did not muchenik say he used his powers on forsaken?

No.  Muchenik DoTed Humaan but trusts forsaken for some other reason.  It's somewhat suspicious (for now at least) or at the very least a little atypical.

Our lynch of muchenik will find out whether or not he is a cultist. Being a Disciple of Truth can't hide that.

And I think Mr. Person guaranteeing muchenik to be town was more of an educated guess. I don't think he has proof. Just a very informed hunch.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Heroic Guard all that valuable of a role to keep secret? In terms of priority for scum targets, it seems pretty low on the list. Can anyone educate me about this?

Any protector roles are high on scum lists.

I would say that a Heroic Guard is relatively high on the list because he could be used to protect a guaranteed townie from absolute anything (one time) later in the game.  On the other hand, it's one of the one shot guards, so it's less powerful than it could be.

Really, the problem we're going to run into is that it's entirely possible that Humaan will end up dead tonight no matter what (depending on how many protectors there are and how many the scum think there are).

Ah, okay. I see.

So I guess whether or not Humaan lives or dies depends on whether the scum want to play a mind game with an imaginary opponent, then.

Pretty much.  At least if Muchenik is telling the truth, then we'll at least know that the scum are going to have a fun time picking who to target tonight.

The way Forsaken was wanting to get a telepath to investigate him, I think he's a Survivor Alien, actually. You have to admit, that would be genius. Nobody would inspect you, you claimed goth. Nobody would kill you, you're a goth. Scum won't kill you, you're suspicious.

I have to admit, that would be absolutely brilliant.

It's not true, but it would be brilliant.

Do we have survivor aliens in a non-dopp game?

Well, as I see it, we've got a Kashyyk gamble here, which, for me at least, puts all suspicions on hold in an attempt to get a CT.  It worked out pretty well the last game; I don't see why it wouldn't work out well now.

Vote muchenik

Speaking of :I whatever happened to inaluct?

Regarding Muchenik: Mr.Person's observations changed my mind about Muchenik. The only thing I can think of that would make Muchenik scum is if the Cult, fearing a Watcher, got a DoT but did not communicate and pulled this ill-advised stunt because a Nublet started it and the rest of the cult got forced to follow because too many of them sucked in. That means we'd be popping at least two cultists.

I rate that as a 0% chance of occurring, sadly. It's just food for thought really.

Aaaaand I'm still voting for Muchenik, though I'm a bit sad I was wrong about his alignment before.

I like how everyone calls it the Kashyyk Gambit now.  :-P

I want a Mafia strategy named after me.
