A tunnel with two people is totally still a tunnel. Or something.

Also, Muchenik, are you just voting Nuke so you don't get lynched?

Originally it was a vote for Nuke due to him stalking players, but the wall of text is a pretty good reason. Fight literacy!

...

"He is being valuable and defending his arguments. Let's lynch him!"

Yeah. Townie status right here, guys.

Wait isn't that how it works anyway? If you defend yourself then you are trying too hard to look innocent and if you are not trying at all then you are unhelpful and get lynched.

I have to say, I've never seen a wordle-based defense before. Seeing crazy-as-fuck appear is pretty funny though.

Forsaken, you claim you were doing this to draw scum out - what are your conclusions?

Muchenik, the line between presenting a defense and being defensive can be fine, but it's essential to understand. Unless you're scum and don't care whom you lynch.

I'm sorry to be sidetracked, but that wordle is pretty awesome.  I especially like the way "SCUM" appears in huge red letters opposite "Town".  Quite a few of those words ("Fires", "Conservatives", "LCS") just come from my signature though...  Now I'm going to have to go back and make wordles of some old mafia games.

Anyway, I'm not sure I entirely buy your story of deliberately being scapegoated, but there are certainly some people I find more suspicious than you.  Muchenik for activating the "Too Towny" fallacy and humaan for his random lynching tactic, mainly.

Forsaken, how did you rig up that wordle? I want to try generating one to measure activity of (and focus on) different players, but I can't figure out how best to do this.

Well as you can see from my handy diagram, Nuke is completely innocent as he is the same color as the word Town, while Leafsnail must be scum because he is both Red and in proximity to the word Scum. Conclusive!

Okay kidding...

Unvote as I'm not sure yet.

As has been pointed out, Nuke has been pushing for my death. From what I see his argument is mostly based on the fact that I was unhelpful, and that I didn't promptly answer his laughable death threat. Well the unhelpfulness was a ploy, I'm sorry again about that, and the un-prompt-ness of my answer was probably because I was in walmart or something, who knows where I was at that specific point in time. I'm actually not sold on him being scum yet.

Humaan and Toony have both been extremely random. Toony seems even more determined to take down his 'target' than usual, but that might just be his crazy. Humaan was entirely random without satisfactorily explaining why.

Yes, I tried to take out as many of the taglines etc as possible but I obviously missed a few.

I did it from http://www.wordle.net/  I manually copied out each page of the forum and edited out the extra bits like "Report to moderator" etc

Ok WHAT
1:
Yes. I checked. I refreshed his profile until the little green ball went red. Then I checked to see if he had made any posts after his one in this thread. He hadn't. I could only conclude that he did see my post, and left to avoid answering it until his scum buddies told him to claim goth.

You must have missed the multiple instances where I said I was out and about, using my phone to check in. Of course I was bouncing on and offline, as the phone loses signal in a building or when I close the browser and plan to check in later. But way to draw some broad assumptions.
This is still condemming, you idiot. This means you were online, but nevertheless, didn't respond. The 'correct' action was to respond ASAP with: 'I am a goth'

2:
I guess it's time to come clean, most of this was part of a planned attempt to inject some drama into the situation.
WHAT.
That is all I have to say.

3:
A tunnel with two people is totally still a tunnel. Or something.

...Muchenik.
Your post came less than a minute after mine.
You did not read it. You didn't even try to read it. You just admited to pure bandwagoning
Which is a scumtell, by the way. A much more scummy scumtell than defending yourself.

Wait isn't that how it works anyway? If you defend yourself then you are trying too hard to look innocent and if you are not trying at all then you are unhelpful and get lynched.
...No, muchenik. If you defend yourself you are defending yourself. This defence can be good (you don't get lynched), bad (nothing changes), or stupid (more people vote for you). If you don't try to defend yourself it always counts as stupid defence.

I am literally laughing with rage at the stupidity of these responses. If I am lynched by merit of this sort of stuff then I will be forced to come to your houses- all of the round ten players- and kill you, to maintain the human race's minimal level of intelligence.

PREPOST EDIT:
As has been pointed out, Nuke has been pushing for my death. From what I see his argument is mostly based on the fact that I was unhelpful, and that I didn't promptly answer his laughable death threat.
Correction. The crux is your 'surrender' action. Go back and read it right.

Wait, I think you may have misunderstood. What is condemning about me posting from my phone, and then ignoring the phone in my pocket as I walk around a store? Or going offline because I lost signal?

Also, can we not go to personal attacks? You're clearly angry, for some reason, over this game but you really shouldn't be. As I said, most of what I did was playacting. I didn't actually give up, the entire thing was planned out. I know mafia isn't about power roles, and I do appreciate the few of you who tried to console me. If the crux of your argument is based on my 'surrender' then your argument is based on a lie, so... yeah.

Yeah my bad on the post, I drafted it then thought I hit send. Went to KoL and started doing some turns. came back to this tab and saw the post button was still there. Sure the right thing would have been to copy the post and refresh the page, see what else had been posted then paste an amended post.

Guess I need to work on my forum etiquette.

I'll admit Nuke, I didn't read your amazing wall of text which dwarfs anything Alex, Dakarion, or anyone else has ever written in a mafia. I'm pretty sure that's the biggest post in the Mafia section to date. This is nothing against you, it's more a slam on my own attention span.

But yeah Nuke, you're being... a tad vicious with your statements.

Yeah, Forsaken... You vote someone pressure them, see how they react - if they react in a scummy manner (giving up) you go for the kill.

Ah, right. Sorry. Ok, I get the phone bit. Argument withdrawn.
Sort of

Now then.
On to your claimed 'play-acting'.
Firstly: You do realise that this claim sounds like something that a scum would make to get themselves out of trouble, right?
Secondly: How does the fact that you were play acting invalidate my arguments? If you were acting, it was top-quality acting, so my arguments which were designed to apply to reality should also apply to your actings. Obviously if you were acting I should now withdraw my arguments, but your claims that my arguments or actions are scummy because they were based on a lie are wrong, because I did not know you were acting.
Thirdly: Go to hollywood because hot damn if that is your acting you could make a blockbuster all on your own, like that austin powers fellow.
Fourthly: Thirdly means I don't reaaally believe you. You claim to have an accomplice. If you are willing to share this accomplice with us, along with a confession by this accomplice, then I would be willing to reconsider.

My vote stands.

I have to say Nuke, this is the most aggressive and talkative I've ever seen you. Why the change of heart?

Now, I don't mean to presume anything, but if I may ask, were you scum in any other paranormal? I simply can't remember.

He was the Exterminator last round, and was foiled by RedWarrior's observant guarding skills.

And yes, I actually read all of Nuke's WoT.  I found it quite well written and helpful.  My vote remains on humaan, but it would seem that noone else cares about his desire to lynch townies.

"His desire to lynch townies", I knew I missed something in those pages I skimmed over. Would you mind summarizing your suspicion of Humaan for me Leafsnail?
