You know Janus, I somewhat suspect you of being the Scientist again...

Nope, definitely not the Scientist.  I'm kind of curious if the Scientist actually claimed as such to Humaan... He could be either a helpful ally or a rather interesting foe...

Of course, come to think about it, if Leafsnail is in a sharing mood, this is one of the best things that could have happened to him.  If he passes along what he knows from his two days as a Watcher, the Scientist can (probably) get his Cultist and Human and still prolong the game long enough for both of them to win.

Long story short, keep an eye out for anything that appears to be doing just that.  They are probably the Scientist.

So when the scientist abducts someone they can freely converse with them? I thought it was effectively a 'kill' and they were out of the game.

I'm not actually sure.  I did back when I was the Scientist.  I think there was some discussion about this at some point, but I can't find it.

Yes, the Scientist and his abductees may all converse with one another. I'll get that updated in the rules section (here and the discussion thread)

I also didn't know someone who was abducted didn't roleflip, nor do I see anything about that in the rules... though admittedly the rules aren't exactly comprehensive. Can someone clarify this?

The scientist is a valuable asset to the town. Personally, I think the scientist should work with Humaan. I know I would of claimed it right off to Humaan in the first place. Depending on what Humaan can offer (Is there a doctor in the house?), we might be able to clear someone and kill off a cultist. A trade of 1/1 is quite fair, I must say.

At the best least, we can keep vig kills or w/e away from said scientist.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Abducted players do not role-flip until their abductor leaves the game.
