I think Toady and Threetoe would be perfectly fine with you creating a page for helping Portuguese-speakers play DF.  Do not expect a Portuguese translation of DF to be released any time soon, or any sort of rights to DF (I am having trouble understanding your last statement).  Toady and Threetoe aren't looking for business partners.

If you want to contact either of the Adams brothers, a direct email would be better than a post on the forums.

You can do that just fine if you like; so long as you're not trying to make money (or as for donations), I can't see anyone objecting to tutorials.

That said, if you wanted to attempt a translation of the game, you would probably need direct permission/help from Toady.

Well from what I understand, you just want to create a portuguese language fan-page with tutorials and information. Which I think is all right and that you wouldn't need permission from Bay12 to make a page.

Perhaps you could also contact the Dwarf Fortress Wiki ( http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net ) owner and discuss a portuguese language version as well.

Although you did confuse us with the "I want a copyright" line. I'd get into how exactly, but I don't want to confuse you too much :P

edit: ack, ninja'd

I am brazilian too, and I think he only wanted Toady's approval to build the website.

Well, no, thanks. I have too much in my hands already, but if you are willing to go, good work. Maybe you can bring a donation or two to Toady ;)

You don't actually need permission to create a fan page, so long as the art and content are original. If you plan to use any copyrighter material or art, you need permission for that.

.br?

jajajajajajjajajajajajajajjajajajajajja

And yeah, I'm sure Toady would be fine with a Brazilian fan page for DF, but I'd wager in the short and long term that a Portuguese version of the Wiki would help potential players more. May I suggest something like Wikia? That'll let you make the Wiki for free, at least.
