How about this? I don't remember exactly where I heard it from, but I think there's been evidence of a glowing pit somewhere in the world.

Like, there was an inexplicable sinkhole/magma vent/crater that went ridiculously deep, rumored to be a pit into Hell. Even a microphone was reeled down into it and recorded screams (from people, it sounded like) coming from within. The recording was from the 70s or earlier even. I don't recall, but I found it rather eerie.

It's kinda late, but I think evidence of this can be found somewhere online. Hopefully, no HFS come/came out of it.

Definitely HFS in there. They must've drilled through where there was no adamantium.

I live in Nova Scotia, so I've heard a lot about the Oak Island Money Pit a lot while growing up; it's a pity it's probably fake.
Even so, it's an interesting story.
