Number one most important thing, make it something that doesn't involve a computer. Of course, all hobbies can be discussed online...I know all of mine have ended up with me posting on the internet about them...but still, make the hobby itself something away from the screen.

Some of my favorites
-Biking
-Playing an instrument
-Sacred Harp singing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_Harp ...of course, this is something I can only do on monthly occasions when there are scheduled events
-Learning languages

and some from my friends:
-home-brewing beer
-growing your own food in a backyard garden/pigpen/chicken coop, which lends itself to composting as well
-tennis
-Pottery

Join a hobby class. I recommend pottery, cooking, acting and misc art. Why? Because 90% of people attending those classes are chicks, and some of those are hot chicks.
