I had thinking that I was tom cruise, and being very confused when Mr.Person claimed Redwarrior was Tom Cruise. Claiming TC myself seemed like a rather bad idea, though.

Toony: I'll echo that the concept was awesome, but allowing a mafia to be converted really let the game break. If something like that is going to happen, I'd think that it would be best to only let the leaders know who the fans are, and make the leaders unconvertable. Having town conversion roles without significant neutrals is also sometimes difficult, since there aren't many targets that it will work on.

1.  Can convert someone once per game into your Anti-Tom Cruise Fan Hood.

2.  Can investigate someone every other night to see their alignment.

3.  Can not be converted.

Question - when you say "hammered" does that mean the last person who voted for you?  I mean, considering this game had no hammers.

I may be 100% wrong here, BUT

If you set it so that Tom Cruise fans don't know each other or know Tom Cruise (though Tom Cruise himself would know all), have the real Tom Cruise show up pro-town on investigations, AND make it so that any attempt to convert either Tom Cruises or George Lopaz fails then it should balance out.

But then the TC fans, who are effectively anti-lynchers, wouldn't know who to protect...

In the least, you know to be careful in 'your scumhunt'.  If you think they are scum then it might be best not to let them die.

Also, as a fan, your goal is to keep Tom alive, not you.  What's more, you're a bit of a liability to stay alive since you may be converted.  What's MORE, 2 out of 3 of your powers work if you get lynched.

Result: plenty of reasons to bus yourself.

I really would have taken that 'cannot be converted' ability off of the anti-fans and put it onto the normal fans.

It would have also been interesting if all the fans knew the fake Tom Cruise but not the real one.
