I think he drew it in his own blood, dying, while the scythe arm creature was roaming around elsewhere. He knew he was dying. Delirious, he wouldn't write something pretty, or in a language he learned later in life. It would be whatever he knew as a child.

Like I said: call him over, try to talk to him. If on the 1% chance, he doesn't want to kill you, talk to him. Otherwise, you will already be standing at the end of a hall, and may take advantage of the fact that you have a gun and he does not.

You backtrack until you find the Scythy, then level your gun at it just in case.


From behind, you can see that there are two tanks mounted on the monster's back, and a few thick tubes run from the tanks to the back of its head.

"Hello?" you call out.

I'm not too worried, we have a pretty good chance of a bullet penetrating all the way and hitting the tanks.

Anyway, if possible, stand at the end of a hallway. If not, whatever.
