Ambush. Wait around the corner with the crowbar- don't smash their skull in immediately, unless they're armed. It's possible they're friendly.

Also: If possible, wedge self between doorframe and ceiling. Epic ambush.

Scythe arms... Yey...

Sown shut eyes and mouth too... This thing has to hear or smell to get around and hunt people down. Meaning I really,really doubt being behind this door is going to help for long.

I guess quickly swing around that door and run wherever Scythy came from?

Sorry nope! You can still go back and try to find them, though, the elevator isn't blocked off or anything (this is assuming you get Scythy out of the way)
