Am I the only one asking themselves how this thing can open a door? I am assuming here that the door has some sort of latch...

The square is probably the panel that the crowbar came from.

...Ahem, I think you should closely pay attention to its arm joints. Will it be able to chop downwards, or just slash sideways? Ideally, it can only slash sideways, and you will be safe behind the door. Then maybe you can get one or two good hits with your crowbar.
