It is called Merchandising.

Also yes there is a Meme for it but I cannot remember what it was. It was where a product doesn't reflect what it is based off of (though dnd Pop certainly makes sense for anyone who plays it)

Or are you actually saying what it actually is called and not a meme at all?  In which case, why?  No one asked what it's called.  Pay attention.  :P  I want a meme for it!  Preferably D&D related.

Isn't Sprite the drink of D&D?  I mean I personally can't stand soda and never drink it when playing but it was in an internet video so it must be true.

Jones Soda will license to more or less literally anyone. Even the little Indy Cthulhupalooza lovecraft celebration had custom bottles made by Jones for sale.

apparently you can actually ask them to make a custom 6 or 12 pack for you by giving them a label idea, paying extra, and requesting flavors.
