The Han Dynasty has grown corrupt and decedant. It has thought that the Mandate of Heaven would stay within its grasp, regardless of how poorly they ruled. When the Yellow Turban Rebellion began, the Han was powerless to stop it. It relied on the help of military strongmen to put down the rebellion, granting them lots of power. The Yellow Turbans were forced to surrender, and its leaders submitted itself to the rule of the Han Dynasty, but it was a phyrric victory as the Han Emperor himself has no more control over China.
Nominally, everyone pay loyalty to the Han Emperor. In reality, warlords has formed their very own Kingdoms within China and are begining to contest each other for power and glory. They control every inch of China, even the capital of Luoyang. I am going to name these kingoms based on their color on this China map.
THE WESTERN YELLOW KINGDOM: Xi Lang (the Upper-Left Corner of China that is covered in Yellow) is controlled by a terrible monster known as
Bokahilla. She is aided by her henchman,
Itnetlolor. She has 20,000 Troops.
THE MIDDLE YELLOW KINGDOM: It is right in the middle of China and smushed between the Light Blue Kingdom, the Purple Kingdom, the Light Red Kingom, the Peach Kingdom, the Medium Blue Kingdom, and the Dark Blue Kingdom. It is ruled by Zhao Hong, and has a famous croc wrangler named
Croc. Dundee. 20,000 troops.
THE EASTERN YELLOW KINGDOM: Ruled by
Dakk. Has the loyal ally of
Malaketh. 20,000 troops.
THE WESTERN BEIGE KINGDOM: I am located in Tian Shui (the dark biege area right under the Western Yellow Kingdom of Xi Lang). The ruler is Bian Xi. Bian Xi has 20,000 troops.
THE EASTERN BIEGE KINGDOM: The light beige territory of Bei Ping (right above the Light Green Kingdom) is ruled over by Yan Zheng. 20,000 troops.
THE NORTHERN LIGHT BLUE KINGDOM: The northern light blue territory right under the Western Beige Kingdom is Han Zhong, and it is ruled over by Mang Yachang. I have heard the famous general
Olaf is located in this area. Mang Yachang has 20,000 troops.
THE MEDIUM BLUE KINGDOM: It is bordered by the Dark Blue Kingdom and the Middle Yellow Kingdom. The ruler is Cao Rui. 20,000 troops.
THE DARK BLUE KINGDOM: This is the largest kingdom in China and is ruled by Cao Zhen. The western part of the Dark Blue Kingdom is Yong An (16,000 troops). The eastern part of the Dark Blue Kingdom is Jian Ye (16,000), where the old (and presumbly wise)
Umiman trains. The middle part of the Dark Blue Kingdom is Chang Sha (20,000), where
Jesster lives.
THE SOUTHERN LIGHT BLUE KINGDOM: The territory of Ling Ling is ruled by Deng Mao, and his trusty fighter
Rashilul. 20,000 troops
THE KINGDOM OF GOTHIC BLACK: The two black territories of Cheng Du and Nan Zhong are controlled by Ruler Ding Yuan. Cheng Du, which is just below the Light Blue Kingdom, has three mysterious warriors stationed there:
Jervos,
Anastasia, and
Myroc. Ding Yuan has 20,000 troops stationed in Cheng Du and 16,000 troops in Nan Zhong.
THE PURPLE KINGDOM: The purple territory of Chang An is controlled by Wen Pin. 20,000 troops.
THE LIGHT RED KINGDOM: The red territory is controlled by Taishi Xiang and is Luo Yang, the capital of China.
Ahemd is stationed in this kingdom. A famous poet and bureacrat, Cao Cao, is also stationed here. 20,000 troops.
THE DARK RED KINGDOM: The dark red territory of Pu Yang is ruled over by Wu Tugu. 20,000 troops.
THE PEACH KINGDOM: The peach territory of Jin Yang is ruled over by Lu Meng. 20,000 troops.
THE NORTHERN GREEN KINGDOM: The light green territory of Ping Yuan is ruled over by Xiahou Yuan. He has the loyalty of the Great
Korgan. 20,000 troops.
THE SOUTHERN GREEN KINGDOM: The ruler is Yi Ji. The western part of the kingdom, Jiao Zhi (16,000 troops) has the legendary Lu Bu. The eastern part of the kingdom (20,000 troops) is guarded by the Yellow Turban leader Zhang Jiao, who has since rehabilitied himself and reconcilied himself with the Han Dynasty.
THE ORANGE KINGDOM: The territory of Bei Han is controlled by the ruler Ahui Nan. Dong Zhou is a vassal of Ahui Nan. 20,000 troops.
THE PINK KINGDOM: It is ruled by Lu Xun. The poor, improvished general of Liu Bei serves Lu Xun. 20,000 troops.
THE BROWN KINGDOM: The brown territory of Chai Sang is ruled by Chunyu Qiong. 20,000 troops.
(OOC: I have bolded the names of created creatures. Non-bolded names are names of either the rulers of the territories, or very important people in the Dynasty Warriors fluff. If you played Dynasty Warriors and have a favorite non-CAW that you would like to know more about, please let me know so that I may consult the Information screen and see if he is working for any empire.
If you don't recognize any of these names, look them up. I don't know them either. If Wikipedia doesn't know of them, they maybe the game is making random generic officers up.)

China lay on the cusp of Chaos. I must stop this. There are three options.
Every officer in China has their own private army of 4,000 conscripts. I am a
vagrant officer Ronin with 4,000 troops, located in the Western Beige Kingdom. I can fight against an army of 20,000 conscripts and take this Kingdom over. I can swear loyalty to the Ruler of this Kingdom and rise in the ranks as I help expand his fiefdom. Or I can decide to do neither and instead take mercenary missions, and try to see if I can gain experience and find new allies on my quest to end the Chaos. I am faced with a wide variety of choices, and I must decide on a choice.
I call upon my ancestors to provide me with the advice I need when I undertake this task.
