Here is the link.  You'll probably have to host since I have port problems.  It creates a virtual LAN which we can connect to.  Just host a server, put the name and password here, and then I'll join and it'll have the LAN IP Address where we can all see it.

Then, the Axis and Allies will battle for the umpteenth time.

and this makes me happy

Well, reading through that was pretty weird.  I now have a sudden and uncontrollable urge not to switch to a Tohou avatar.

That's kinda disturbing.  Also about the longest .gif I've ever seen here :P.

Why does this thread expand by about four pages every time I log back on?
I made adjustments to my setting to show as many topics and posts per page as possible. Minimizes the effort needed to go through all the pages (about 4 pages worth per page). Especially helpful with projects, LPs, and these topics.

Thank goodness I can read fast.

Nice to see you have Audiosurf too Janet. What kind of tracks do you intend to play on it?

I'm thinking like, MSPA music, stuff from games, Lets see... Hmm... I got a bunch of music that might be interesting to try. Anthem of the soviet union on AudioSurf?

I like Audiosurf because I have a pretty big music library and if I ever run out, my dad's computer is almost full of just music.

Saw The Longest Day again yesterday. In 1962 somebody made a WWII movie that is better than anything that followed to work on that subject matter. Inglorious Bastards can go back the way it came, this is the top of the top.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Bullcrap.  The Longest Day does not have a plot, or story, or more importantly action of any kind.  It's four hours composed entirely of introductions for the thousand cast members, with a few minutes of soldiers shooting at an invisible sky at the end.  I'm not one to criticize war movies, especially old ones, but The Longest Day is longer than Ghandi and half as enthralling.

Did have one good part though - gummipoopen.  That's just fun to say.

The internet lacks a rebuttal to this in the form of images of the action scene i remember, but I need it not to entertain me.

I dunno, I suppose watching it late at night and suddenly discovering John Wayne was in it got to me. I might have been asleep for the second half for all I remember.

Now that my sister is caught up with her school work, I think I may have finally convinced her to at least try a session of DF.

Of course, I'll be walking her through the beginning of it so she can adjust to the feel of the game. I'm also linking her to a couple sites that might help: DFWiki, DFMA, Let's plays of Adventure and Dwarf modes, as well as my ongoing project.

Speaking of which, I just lost much time. I'm getting started on it again before it gets too late. Things seem to have slowed down enough to get started again.

Be back soon enough.

So yea, got Company of Heroes to work again. Although I must ask: Is there already a Bay12Games Hamachi network out there? Would be better to schedule games for other people who have CoH.
