PC games are 40 dollars, 50 dollars if it's awesome.

Say wha?  New PC games have been $55-65 for as long as I can remember buying them.  Which is strange, because that's like 15 years.  I think the economy of scale has caused the price to deflate at the same speed as natural inflation.  But the point is, say wha?

I don't know what games you've been buying, but the vast majority of games I've gotten have been 19.99, in cardboard boxes with front-flaps (Why did they have to change it?  Buying a game like that was a beautiful thing, now they're just fat playstation boxes) or 39.99.

Modern Warfare 2 is the first PC game I've ever seen to hit 59.99

My statement was more in the "This is what I will pay for a game, and since I'm important, my opinion should set the price" line of thought.

You have to wonder how so many stores can be so late in getting your catalog updates.  I keep telling them what the price is supposed to be, but they never believe me.

Seriously how many times has this thread had to be rerailed? Honestly I don't care whatever price this and that is Cuthulu, and I don't think anyone else does either.

Wow. What DID we miss? People are suddenly talking about wierd sekrit stuff... or something.

And good games are currently $110 in Australia. That's Pc and Console. Only good thing about Pc in that respect is that you can actually BUY outdated pc games around the place, and play them. Consoles... notsomuch.

GOD, Games Are So Pricey!!1!!!1!!one!!!!!!!!

The Mass Corporations Are Abusing The Addictions Of Our Niche Market!
Hardcore Gamers Shouldn't Have To Deal With The Twin Horrors Of Overpriced Games and Excessively Restricting Methods Of Maintaining Security And DRM. If Only The Leeches Running The Import Offices Would Stop Charging So Much For Their Games, We Would All Be Much Happier, Because Making The Games Industry Less Restrictive Is The Only Way To Relieve Us From Piracy, For In This Time Of Crisis, Piracy Can Be Seen As The Only Way To Truly Show The Corrupt Bureaucrats Their Errors In Abusing The Honest Man.

Things that made me happy today: Finished Three books, which I liked from childhood, and, realised I still like. Anyone heard of the DEEPWATER series?

Why did you capitalize the first letter of EVERY word in that non-serious rant?

I'd delete it all... but It was just SO MUCH FUCKING work having to capitalise it all!

Edit: Oh, and.
non-serious
That is actually my opinion on the matter... except i'd use less big words and capitalisation.

To show it was non-serious.

Yesterday I found my old Ninja Gaiden hand-held game (the old school kind). When I started playing it, I found that the movement buttons didn't work, so I took it apart, worked with the connections, and now it work perfectly. Fixing something gives you a warm feeling inside.
