Seriously, I coundn't help but to smile and sig the damn thing when I saw it. Joe is now crushing troll skulls with glorious arch lightning.
Now you just need to get someone to draw a picture of a crazed man with a lightning hammer shocking a guy. As mentioned in the sig.

This has made me so happy I am not quite sure how to share it. This forum seems like a convenient place.

This is entirely your fault.

I wouldn't mind getting those; minor issue: I'm not letting that anywhere near my computer or CD/DVDs. I mean, being made of rare earth magnets and all, I can imaging the damage one of those can do to a computer.

Seeing as they look about the size of BBs, I can imagine if they can cling after being shot, you can come up with some interesting target practice routines with those (soda cans or something). Then again, finding them would be a pain in the ass if they get lost.

And yeah. That Thor story was pretty awesome.

Added awesomeness, It seems my edit of Blargityblarg's avatar is a hit with the smile thread.

Oh, and I also finished building Lavos's shell in Minecraft. About freaking time.

The Castle? That is probably the best Australian movie of all time. In my opinion, anyway.

I just feel like I have to point out that data on CDs and DVDs is stored optically, by effectively etching the surface with a laser; magnets won't have the slightest effect on them. Your computer, possibly; but I've heard it takes some serious magnetism to effect hard drives, at least. It'd certainly be fun to experiment with (someone else's computer)!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it takes a high-level magnet to kill a computer.  I bet you could do it with one of those degaussing wands they use to fix TVs.

That brings up a question I've had for a while: If lasers etch information onto hard drives and such, won't using them again and again eventually wear them down to nothing?

They wear out first, don't they?

I thought hard drives were two magnetic disks spinning in opposite directions.

...

I don't know.
