Also been quite enjoying Half Life 2.

Oh, yeah.  You got The Orange Box.

I'm starting to realize how old that game is now.  I played it when it first came out, back in 2004...

High score of 350 for Bastet, and First person tetris is a major mindfuck. I rock at it.

Still good though.

And really cheap.

I quite like a lot of the way HL2 is done - it feels genuinely suspenseful at times, and can often make me jump (although I have a nasty tendancy of scoring a direct hit on a fleeing seagull when a zombie is running towards me).

Bah.  Except for the highway and Ravenholm I much preferred the first one.  There's only so many faceless near-future dictatorships I can spend an FPS gunning through before it loses its magic.  And the antlions are just annoying without being suspenseful.  I don't like jumping puzzles, especially when I have to use the sledgehammer finesse of the Gravity Gun to arrange the pieces myself.

Can't comment really, haven't played the first one.  Don't play many FPS's at all, actualy, which explains why I have a tendancy to use the wrong weapons and take far more damage than I should.

I really liked the part in the jail, where the guards rush you several times. I made it trivial by blocking the entrances with barrels and crates so they can't run in and all get funneled into a few separate places.

I was kinda peeved with the first one. Where the second one had masterful spacing of ammo and health the first one often left me in situations where the next health drop was across a maze of electrified fences that would kill me if I walk with a foot of them.

Technically, Sonic Unleashed only had Sonic too.  Well, and the two Tornado stages.  Also, needlemouse is old news, but hey, I wouldn't be a Sonic fan if I wasn't cursed with boundless optimism.

Meh, Sonic.  Bleh.  Blue Hedgehog.  Try to be edgy.  Eh.

Oh well, at least it's not like Nintendo.  Mario, Super Mario, Mario RPG, Soccer Mario, Tennis Mario, World of Mario, Legend of Mario, Call of Mario, Leisure Suit Mario, Grand Theft Mario, Prince of Mario: The Sands of Mario, Army of Two: Mario and Luigi, Mario: Blood on the Sands, etc.

You forgot Mario Party, and however many incarnations that had.

I saw a LP of NEW super mario bros, and I'm still raging at how you don't get to keep Yoshi between levels. WHY!?

It looked alright, but apparently Yahtzee threw a fit over it.
