OHGODWHOPLAYSTETRISLIKETHAT?

Night mode is beuitiful though.

Wuss.  I'm kicking ass at this.  Thank God the controls stay oriented to your vision instead of the screen.

These tetris alternatives are pretty sweet. Bastet is, of course, a bastard. And first person tetris is hilarious, though it hurts your head after a couple games.

Oddly enough, the game feels easier like this. Then again, I'm used to games that f*** around with perception.

I have yet to play Shattered Horizon however.

Plus, I'd consider this more a 2nd-person perspective game. True 1st person would be hell. Imagine not knowing where you'll fall depending  how you're turned. And trying to fill in a space just by guessing. You'll need one hell of a memory to know what you're doing.

EDIT:
I got into the habit of saving the flash games so the games won't lag when I play them. It sucks when you have a perfect r--un, CRAP! missed a perfect shot thanks to lag.

Well, I've been made happy today, mainly because someone very special to me has said she loves me.

Don't you love it when something happens really late in the day that makes things seem much better?

Hmm. Sleep time.

Up next is Thief.

Also good, but I thought it had too much running from monsters and not enough, well, anything else really.  Thief 2 was the epitome of The Shit though.
Thief 2 is the third best game I have ever played I'm prety sure, and the very best comercial one.

True first-person tetris?

I would imagine that it would be viewed from mid-brick, always facing down (towards the rest of the bricks), with a little brick icon in the corner of the screen that shows the current orientation, and maybe bordering bricks.

If the view direction rotated with the brick, it would be unplayable.

I believe It would be a big giant colored brick popping out of existance, then getting bigger and bigger as it gets closer. Then if you turn it, the shape or size or the brick changes.

Thief won't work on my computer, as the operating system is about 5 years to advanced.

Apparently, i can't play thief on Windows NT.

I got it to work.

Yaaai!

Sung in a concert tonight.  Went well, and I had a good solo.  Ah.

Also been quite enjoying Half Life 2.
