I've also been enjoying my new Super Mario Brothers Wii game.

Is it worth buying?
I'm skeptical of Nintendo nowadays.
I've certainly enjoyed it, although I can't guarentee everyone else will.  It has a very nice challenging element, and is one of the first games I've played where I've stopped trying to collect every single secret and started playing simply to get through the game.  The inventory element is a bit weird (you can basically eat a Mega Mushroom before every level and then take the upgrade when you get in) but is a nice touch.

The two player element was extremely fun, even if it so often ended with "Damnit, why did you jump on my head?" or "Comon, I can't dodge that when you're pushing me!".

I have a lot of things to be happy about, but I'm not all that happy right now.

On the one hand, grades for the last semester were posted, and I passed everything, including a Spanish class that I was failing until the final exam.  As my parents say, D stands for diploma, so even though I woefully unprepared for the fourth and final semester of Spanish I still need, at least I won't have to retake this one.

However, I also awoke from a very startling dream, and then realized that this month long winter break, of which a week has already passed, is the last long-term vacation (relatively speaking since I still have to work) I'm promised and likely to ever have until I retire.  Damn you adulthood.

You could always, er, put 8.5% of your salary into a savings fund and take a year-long vacation every 12 years? That's the same, right?
But that's probably impractical and 8.5% is a lot.

I just used forum-fu to quote a locked topic.  I am epic.

Also, I quoted the forum guidelines.  I'm such a cool customer.  I mean, balls out the window here, takes major guts for ME to quote the guidelines.  I've had them explode in my face enough times.

http://www.cracked.com/blog/a-detective-yarn-so-clever-it-makes-angela-lansbury-look-like-a-god-damn-mongoloid/

"I swung the blade recklessly into her headboard. She flinched, but she knew I couldn’t do it. I brought my face within inches of hers, the sexual tension filling the air like smoke. Also, I had lit the entire downstairs on fire before coming up here, so a lot of it was probably actual smoke."\

How do i make the link be text.

I have no Forum-Fu.
