We got a few new people after the Steam release but they don't post very often, was hoping we'd get a few more but they didn't seem to notice the forum.

Bet it won't last long.

I am pretty sure as well. Isreal has never respected such agreements.
From what I've seen neither side seems to respect those agreements, only time will tell who breaks it first this time.

And that is about as political as I feel like getting and shall cease talking of such things.

Probably for the best that we don't get many people from steam, have you seen the steam forums?

Moved my aquarium to a different room today, trying to empty my room so it can get new floors and repainted. Seems to have gone alright, was able to keep a lot of the already bioactive water, the fish seem fine and nothing got broken. By lucky happenstance my brother and his wife popped by to visit while I was doing it, so my brother was able to help me with some of the heavy work.

So, with a few hundred litres of water moved, and my bed already dissassembled and gone, the two heaviest parts of the room are done. Despite the fact that several of my muscles and joints now hate me, it has been a productive day.

a few hundred litres of water

That's a big aquarium!

Largest I've ever had in my home is a 10-gallon (38 liter) tank.

My aquarium is 296 litres if I recall correctly. It takes a bloody age to fill the thing, first time I used a garden hose, this time I had to refill a good half the volume with just my watering can.

Good thing is the size of the tank makes it very biologically stable, so even if I neglect it for a while during a depressive episode the fish are fine.

My surgeon was very pleased with the progress of my leg muscles via physical therapy, even saying "I don't really have a reason to see you again, unless something starts hurting or you get injured again."

I'd put myself at about 85% of my pre-injury capacity, like I can do daily life tasks and only get discomfort if I push my limits of range of motion or have a really heavy load.  Still don't think I could do running / agility sports though (biking seems to be fine).

A good piece of news for the day!

Like a proper geezer, you look out the window and yell at the youthful vibrancy of other forums passing by. 'You're not a real forum, Discord!' 'You're a piece of filth, Steam discussion boards!'

Hope everyone here is doing well, its been a while I know.

Recently I managed to finish a few works. I read Himegami no Miko (which I recommend, just make sure to read a synopsis), a manga adaptation of a web novel that is a sorta sequel to Kannazuki no Miko (this one I do not recommend so much). Had also read Volume 1 of Ruri Dragon, and about 20 fate manga. Currently reading Destiny Unchained Online on the recommendation of a friend, and this one is a little harder to recommend but its been fun for me at least.

Though this mainly goes in the Happy Thread since I have been reading them in Japanese. I wouldn't say I have gotten fluent, but I have reached one of my language learning goals of reading works that are as of yet officially untranslated. Ironically I figured that of all things Japanese the reading would be the hardest part, but its gotten to be the thing I am best at. I can converse a little and write and chat but I am nowhere near as good. And before anyone is too impressed this is all dictionary assisted, pretty much having to look up words page by page but eventually they get through my head and stick in.

So yeah, that's been part of what I had been up to the past few years.

Oh there was also the hilarious one where a game dev got banned from their own steam forum for descending into a hilariously delusional far-right anti-trans, racist, sexist series of rants, culminating in a breakdown when a trans game reviewer criticised them and then refused to re-engage, resulting in them descending from anger to pitifully pleading with them to respond to their posts.

Watched the whole video, it was amazing.
