On the whole it's been really minor, it was just super bad timing. I've been bored these past few days and I can't get my PS4 or tower until it clears, nor can I do Jitsu for obvious reasons.

Appreciate the well-wish though.

Hazbin Hotel is out! First episode is available on YouTube for a month. The rest, I think, are on Amazon Prime.

Just finished installing a new CPU cooler after the old one died. Idle temp dropped from 65C to 26C, the radiator+fan array just barely manages to clear my GPU with a ~2cm gap, and it looks like I didn't fry my CPU sitting at 105C multiple times before I noticed the abnormal temps. First time I've done a cooler install so I'm just glad I didn't break anything.

The twenty-third chapter of my hard sci-fi space opera is released! This is a huge chapter. Since this is the last station, I decided to milk it for all it's worth, by providing a look into another truly alien culture. To compensate, I made it 1000 words longer than usual. The ending also gives a glimpse into the Human Civil War of the backstory-- something that may be expounded on in the next book. Which is starting soon, because the end of the road is within sight!

Managed to pry a painful bone spike out of my gums. Now it's had the better part of an hour it feels so much better than it did. Little thing, but really pleasant to have done.

Bones are living but teeth aren't. They're more like shells

I wonder what implication this has for necromancy. Resurrecting teef out of the picture, but bones 100% legit

It was okay, I appreciated it very much. I'm not too keen on all the songs but anything involving the overlord demon cast always steals the show

Fun fact, teeth seem to have evolved from scales.

I'm a bit jealous tbh. I know there's this one fish whose "teeth" are actual bones and regenerate. And sharks get to grow back teeth too

In the case of sharks, the teeth aren't so much growing as being produced and moving on a never ending production line from inside to out.

And yeah, I can see necromancers not being able to animate individual teeth, beyond the roots stuck in them, but they're better off animating the skull and jaw bones anyway.

Do you mean teeth? Those are teeth

I had a tooth pulled on tuesday because of decay around the roots and it being in the way of a wisdom tooth that's in better condition. The process of wrenching a tooth out of the socket causes the surrounding bone to splinter, and in this instance one piece pierced through from the socket to stick out from the inside face of my gums. They normally just sort of work themselves out over a few days or weeks, but this one really fucking hurt so I just hooked it with a fingernail and pulled.

Bones are living but teeth aren't. They're more like shells

Isn't it just the exterior enamel that's not alive? The other layers are all living tissue to my understanding.

Why did it take that long to get a dishwasher set up, me and my mom did that a while back and it only took a few hours.

The person that's (supposed to) do the wiring involved (it's more than just plugging the washer itself back up, like half this house still had (some still has, nit's not done) cloth wiring and that needed fixing) is. They're competent enough so far as the actual work goes, but they're someone that should not be setting their own work schedule at all.

They were supposed to be done with all of it something like last february or march. Job that should have took maybe 2-3 weeks at most has taken 11 months and counting.

Basically, it's taken that long because the person that actually owns the house made a pretty poor choice in electrician, heh.
