Yeah congratulations!!

I was going to reply earlier but I went down a rabbithole about face-epilation or tweezing.  I'd been told that both were big no-nos, yet it doesn't seem so simple.

I'd test them on my face but even two passes of IPL seem to be slowing down the growth rate a lot.  And so far I'm not experiencing any drawbacks- pass two was more comprehensive but had less "sunburny" feeling.  I'm trying to manage my expectations, this is a process that's supposed to take months not a single week.  But maybe I'm successfully nuking this foulness, or at least taming it a bit.

Echo the congrats. Can only imagine it's a weight off the mind on several levels, heh.

Thanks! Knowing what women go through to achieve the same result made making the decision easier. Feels like I'm properly doing my part.

I wasn't ready for the fun bruising or the bleeding, though, but that's both to be expected and pretty minor. My girlfriend found great joy in my suffering of mild period symptoms, hehe.

So a while back I picked up ESO at my cousin's reccommendation, have since joined a guild and been enjoying myself.

Guild leader got a snake, he's albino (and very cute,) my snake is albino, so I can give albino snake care tips. :D

Not that albino snake care is much different from normal snake care, it's mostly just signs of shedding that change, but still.

Guild discord is also full of kittens and cats and dogs and so on. Lot of just chill conversation, animal photos, food photos and so on. Been a while since I was in a big group that talked about that sort of stuff.

I found a gopher snake today sunning itself in the middle of the driveway today.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It didn't move when I drove by or when I came back to take pictures. Until I picked up its tail. Then it slowly got agitated, arched it's neck like in the last pick and slithered off to the side of the road.

No step on snek!

My only encounter with a snake was a snok that threw itself over the road I was biking on. I didn't have the wherewithal to both notice the snake and and swerve or break so I ran right over it, unfortunately. I still feel bad about it

It probably survived.  They're fairly tough.

My last encounter wasn't a good one as I accidentally killed it while doing stuff in the yard.

My last encounter with a snake was a slow worm.

So it wasn't even a snake, it just looked like one.

My last encounter with a snake was many years ago, when I was maybe in my early teens. Found a garter snake in the front yard and caught it in a butterfly net, called animal control (this was before the days when we had Internet at home), was told we could release it somewhere safe. Brought it to the nearby park and let it go. Haven't seen a snake that wasn't behind glass since then.

... mine was somewhere in the last year, where there was a young rattler coiled up near the porch. Since there was kittens nearby at the time, it, uh, got shovel'd.

I'm down to clown with nonvenomous snakes, but the deadybitey ones get kilt if they're anywhere near my house. Being besides a pet cat as it died to snakebite neurotoxin was enough to convince me we'll manage plenty fine with just one sort of snake :-\

That's the way we treat venomous snakes that get to close to things we care about here.

Surgery number 7 on my lower back is scheduled for next month. Hopefully this is the one to put me back on my feet. Six weeks of recovery puts me at Sep 6 for the complete heal date.
