It's definitely not the effects of the HRT, but literally every time I think of the fact I'm on it it just makes me feel so fucking happy.

I don't remember the last time I felt this good about something. I'm not crying with happiness or something, but I'm just feeling so ecstatic.

Missed the actual announcement by a few days because of course the media never reports on anything of actual importance, but a U.S.-based team produced a self-sustaining nuclear fusion reaction. "30 years away for 80 years" is finally not a meme any more. In an even more shocking development, a government spokesperson explained a scientific discovery in clear and concise terms while remaining personable.

It was self-sustaining in that special way of consuming 10 times more energy than it outputted. It still has a long way to go.

Yes, but the extra power loss was from inefficiencies in the system not the reaction itself.

It's like having a car that gets 30mpg but you end up using 10 gallons to go that far because you have no fingers and spilled most of the gasoline on the ground trying to fill your tank -- the problem's not with the core functionality, but with solvable issues in the overall process.

Now that self sustaining fusion is on the horizon what can we do with it?

5 years, I'd heard.

And yeah, boobs start to do stuff between 1-3 months (or earlier if you're extra sensitive to oestrogen), they'll become noticably more boob a few months after that and then it's the steady slog towards your full sized breests.

It wasn't really a serious question.

We need to fix global warming first.
No worries, we can simply use the limitless* free** energy of fusion to hurl all of the excess heat into space.

Hm, all that excess heat discharge should push the Earth out a bit, giving us an extra 2 weeks!

Lets use that excess heat to shove ourselves out of the solar system, and we'll have our own Mothership Earth!
