Labour kicked a transphobic group to the curb (Sort of, Labour basically refused them an official position). Considering they're the current favourites for the next government, it's pretty reassuring that they aren't giving transphobes the time of day.

EDIT: My cold's moved into my voicebox (or my coughing's done something to it) and it's making me sound like either a cliche hard man out of a film or someone who's smoked a pack a day for the last thirty years depending on how high or low my pitch is. No pain or anything, instead I get to have a constant funny voice.

At least the cold's good for something, even if it's mildly amusing myself.

Congratulations Vec!!! And make sure you rest your voice GO, or at least take up a career making indie noire detective films

*EDIT
I am very happy today. Yesterday a good friend I was drifting away from asked about my problems, listened through to all of them, apologised sincerely and left me feeling full of hope and gratitude for our friendship. They even told how they had been feeling the same clawing temptation to cut off from all of our friends rather than deal with our problems. This may be the brightest timeline for our friends circle - there is now just only one of my friends who continuously causes problems because he treats me like a vengeful war god and fears our every interaction. I will have to learn to make myself not be feared :|

Went out on my own volition the other day, without being told or obligated to. Managed to crack a joke with another customer in a store, and bought some things for myself.

Caught an earful from my parents for it, but it's something I never would have even considered a few weeks ago.

Both for going out and for spending money. Though I felt guilty about spending even before they got angry at me.

My mom is still very controlling, and my dad is generally paranoid about most things.

But I'm not going to get over anxiety on pills alone, and I'm far too old for them to be treating me like a pre-teen.

Yeah even if they mean well they've got to understand you can smother someone to death with care, and good intent can only get you so far if you end up locking someone away from the living world

Woooo it's my birthday. 34 years young and all that.

I'm basically spending it on my own with nothing but Discord and my cat, but hey.
