Pretty sure the oldest festival in Europe was in Strasbourg

By the way if there isn't already a festival in Strasbourg called something about the Dancing Plague or 1518 I would be so disappointed in humanity and we should start one

I guess music festival is more accurate, though I'm sure that there are ancient folklore events that could be put under the umbrella music festival.

She must have really pissed it off. Is there any speculation on what it was that upset it?

She was only getting water from a well, apparently. No clue what the elephant took such offense to.

This was in India, though we have elephants here in this part of China as well. The last story I remember from nearby was when a pack of elephants broke into someones shed and drank a years' supply of rice wine, got drunk, rampaged through a ton of farms, and then passed out.

I also support a dancing plague themed music festival.

You could never have a dancing plague in 2022...

...Unless you make the ergot sniffable and declare it gluten free.

Anytime someone says dancing plague I think of the track from FFXIV, because I am a big fat fan of the game.

I saw that. It's odd, because earlier I was thinking about whether it was being ported to PC or not, without knowing that it actually was. Unfortunately, I don't have it budgeted for now, maybe in a month or so.

I'm two things:

1) Mildly toasted
2) Staring at FFVII on steam wanting to buy it

The one you spread to the forum? Fairy dance?

I'm gonna get it at some point, very likely.

But the price makes an extremely good argument against getting it

... especially since you can acquire FFVII by Other MeansTM without paying so much.

I am of course referring to the fact that the PlayStation versions are cheaper, especially used. Totally only that...
