Sure! Just curious whether they were actually their secret children or something; I got confused  :D
Perhaps they are used to the jugdamental types.

OH. GOT IT.

I mean maybe. We're kinda in the sticks, it's probably not the kind of place that you would assume is the friendliest area to that sort of thing. Whatever makes em' comfortable, they seem nice :>

Good thing they have great neighbors across the street from their new home :)

Heckin yes :3

Character in my modded HBS Battletech game, for whatever reason randomly rolled the callsign of "Booger"

Cheery dude, that Booger.  Originally I stuffed him in the Urbanmech (a meme mech in itself) but its low speed started to fuck me when it came to actually escaping the area of operations.  Drives my Valkrie now, mostly as back line LRM duty.

Booger is precious, I will guard him with my life the lives of his lance mates.

Booger is the hero we never knew we needed.

I had something similar in Bomber Crew.
I was replacing my last crew when Lt. Drawers signs up as my pilot.

Lt. "Shitty" Drawers is the pilot that will always be coming home.  "Shitty" Drawers is the greatest of pilots, completes many missions and his safety is prized above everything.  Poor Lt. Drawers, he must hate that everyone calls him "Shitty" Drawers to his face.  ;D

I'm gonna be moving in with a friend at the start of May for a six-month stint; long enough for his seasonal job to play out. I work remotely, so it doesn't matter where I am, and having a friend around will be good for the psyche/bills. It's a bit wry, though, my friend would likely have to turn down his seasonal job if not for me agreeing to house with him, as he wouldn't make enough to make the rent on his own.

We almost don't have the place we're getting, either- the only reason they've agreed to a six-month lease and not the usually-required year lease is that I've offered to pay the whole lease up front. I know I've been very lucky to be able to have wage enough to just do that, and I'm glad I can help my friend continue to work in his field. Will need to make sure he doesn't feel like I'd use this as leverage against him. It's gotta be our home foremost.

It's a fair shake of change- exciting, of course, spooky as always, a lot of work, inevitably.

Been busy on Discord for the most part of everything (even until now or later) but aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa did my first ever speakership *alone*, taking tons of notes from other trans researchers and such on sexual awareness for a local school...not in my region @_@;

And people loved it???? .___.;
(Seriously all thanks to my found fam for their precision and depth of detail especially given intersections of trauma and more).

Really love that all that came from bay12 years back.

Also decided to refine my avatar a tiny bit more for the subtleties. :B

I have finally handed in my BA thesis! While not a grand achievement by any means (considering the fact that I am an English major lol), it was still quite a cathartic experience for me.
