Oh I do have a consumer-grade CO alarm, replaced recently actually and batteries changed twice a year like the smoke alarms*.

While the docs say it goes off around 2500ppm, which is an acute hazard, it doesn't tell you where you're at.  We had our air measured at 1900ppm... not enough to trip the alarm, but I'm trying to look at the positive side of how it's now down to like 5ppm (instead of stressing over what damage I accrued while it was so high for however long it was that high).

*Our alarms are all grid-tied; the batteries are just for backup if the power goes out too.

Finally starting to feel better. About a week of normal sleep has helped. Also informed my psychiatrist that if he wants to try me on another psych med he has to wait at least a month for me to stabilize.

Also, one of the cats demands to sleep with me every night. Miau. He punches me in the face or starts attacking my ponytail to wake me up if I don't let him into the blankets when he miaus politely. The other one demands to be carried around with his paws on my shoulder like a baby. Purring~

Did you have any physical symptoms from the high CO ?
I'm curious about what to look for since I have an old furnace that runs a LOT in winter.

Probably? I mean mostly I was definitely able to smell the incomplete combustion. Smelled like burning metal.   You can probably look up CO poisoning online, sure it gives the symptoms.  Probably like lethargy, dull headache/general malaise, confusion, etc.  Really bad gives unconsciousness, dizziness, nausea.

I have elementary-school aged kids though, so it's hard to weed out specific causes of those symptoms, especially if it's not enough to be acute poisoning.   :P

A class action lawsuit is being decided in my favor, which provides me with a distinct sense of justice.

Probably not wise to mention that on a forum [edited]

Congrats though

Congratulations and thanks!  It's nice to hear about justice getting done, now and then.

Installed another 16 gigs of ram bringing the total to 32 gigs. My 16 gig XMP "overclocking" profile still works at 32 gigs (which means that I don't have to spend hours reconfiguring it while the computer shuts off every ten seconds), which is very nice.
It took about an hour longer than it should have cause I was apparently an idiot and installed my CPU fan the wrong way around when I built the computer, but it all came together in the end and now I don't have to worry about having a game+a zillion chrome tabs open at once.

Next step: Configuring my GPU overclocking profile to activate just when Elden Ring turns on and being off the rest of the time to save energy/peace of mind.
