Good to see the Happy Thread still rages on.
I shall join in with the Hi Tiruin!
We played one half baked Fire Emblem thread once many moons ago XD

Welcome back duna! Hope you didn't lost important files.

EDIT: My own happy, internet seems to finally be stable and constant, and a lighting speed of around 6 mb too! I'm blazing trough the internet  now without at hitch... And to make it sweeter, it's only 4 dollars per month, or like Bs. 18.000.000 right now.

I know it probably wont last much but for now I'm the luckiest men in the city it seems.

Still looking for a online job.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

Fires pretty much out, just smoldering ashes. Very smokey last night, tho. Didn't have to actually evacuate, yay

Time for the fish to rise aagain. But not all bloated and dead.
I'm sure coming back to the forums right before I go back into college is a good idea.
Oh yeah, I'm finishing my degree! Nothing like jumping back into Computer Science after five years, into a class called compiler design, without shaking any of the rust off.

Like riding a bike.

Totally.

Like riding a bike made of rusty razor blades.
There, fixed for you  :P

Welcome back!

Edit: we migth have found the way to pay for our passports and plane tickets. Hopefully it will enable us to get a Canadian visa.

Remember the car the company I worked with last year and how they did never retrieved it? Its an old 2005 Grand Vitara. I got a call and was told basically to keep it as liquidation of the job and the many months they did not payed me, and well, Im gonna try to sell it. They aren't giving me papers or anything but that is not really a big deal here (yeah, we live in a meme version of a black market the size of a country).

I don't know how much it would fetch because is a 6 cylinder engine and gas guzzlers here have their prices down with all the gasoline shortage but I hope is enough to give us a impulse.

If she's happy, may she dance on the moon.

This is gonna sounds really dumb and inane, but water is a REALLY GREAT TREAT when you get to keep it in your fridge in a vintage gallon-sized wine jug, the water's pulled from an artesian well five minutes down the road, and you get to drink it out of your favorite cup.

Like, I'm drinking way more water this way. Tap water is a wonderful blessing, but when it's already cold from my fridge and it just tastes different and it's your favorite cup, man, it just hits different. It's some stupid joy, the joy of the intentionality of drinking water, but it does make me happy.

no lordbaal i am not high what're you talking about

Tap water is 100% always preferable to fridge water. The fridge makes it taste like fridge
