You're about a 1000x smarter than me Vector, I have to tap into galaxy brain mode to do some of these puzzles, but for you they'd probably be a walk in the park. Just now, I was lying in bed, thinking about a puzzle that had stumped me several hours prior, and it just hit me "What if I did..." and I had to get up, turn on my computer, and start up the game just to confirm whether I was right or wrong. I was right, and holy crap do I feel great about it.

If you do pick up The Witness, be sure to relate your own experience with it; the game's artistic qualities resonate very strongly with me, so it'd be interesting to hear your take on it. Just be sure to go in blind and stay unspoiled on all the puzzles, exploring and figuring things out is the entire game. :)

I really liked Braid too. Is this from the same studio?

God, I really need to go back and finish Braid. I got stuck on a puzzle somewhere and didn't want to go look for the solution and ended up not continuing at all.

Braid really is very good.  I fondly remember people trying to figure out what the unlocked story was about.  So many hints that it was the regret of someone on the Manhattan Project, but maybe it was just a Mario parody.

I still listen to Downstream pretty often, what with its beautiful buildup and sick drop.

The Witness is the brainchild of the same guy, Jonathan Blow. Braid's success let him ramp up his team while maintaining complete artistic control. They're both artistic puzzle games, but The Witness is nothing like Braid.

I bought a slimmer wallet yesterday, and cleaned out what I keep in it.

New wallet seems to be working out.  I cant even feel it!  thought that might not be a total boon . . .

You slimmed your wallet,

I lightened mine.

By buying an almost entirely new wardrobe (the clothes, not the actual wardrobe).

Yea. I went through all my clothes and threw out the ones I knew I'd never wear again

And realised just how few clothes that left me.

It was SO expensive. But also my wardrobe is now colour and season coded and this pleases me.

Half my wardrobe is near identical work clothes, I look like some cartoon characters where their wardrobe is just a hundred copies of what they wear every episode.

Another chunk is tee-shirts I get as gifts but am too embarrassed to wear.

I had two pairs of trousers I'd wear outside the house after my wardrobe clean, which struck me as a ridiculously low number.

Dude buy some trousers.

I should, there’s a hole in my current pair 8)

I am most displeased by shopping however, in particular clothes shopping.
