The newer Transformer films are just living up to the original cartoon in that they’re just vehicles for selling shit.

The films just sell shit which is unrelated to the toys. In the last one I watched, there was a Pagani Zonda supercar, and they went to China to sell Chinese products instead. Like, Stanley Tucci, amazing actor, was drinking some kind of Chinese milk brand at one point.

The Cinemas here are still closed but slowly opening - with the backlog of films, I am certain that all the movies which pander to the Chinese audience are going to make millions. They've also had time to get better subtitles - which might just have Tucci saying "Chinese milk is superior to all milk" regardless of what the line really was.

So, like everyone else I have a facebook.

Unlike a lot of other people, I joined facebook waaay back in ye olde days when myspace was still the bee's titties and facebook was still just a place to find out who's going to what party on any given weekend.

Well, I dont like what facebook has become, but I do like keeping in touch with all my family.

I was wished well back in april by an old college friend.  I DMed her back.

She's recently single, and apparently, despite getting dozens of people hitting on her, decided to at least talk with me.

And she's confided that she enjoys my time, and finds it taxing to sort through most of the guys.

Sounds like its an in.  She's heavy into fitness, runs her own business, seems to claim to eat healthy, and still is like-minded enough with me that I find commonality.

She lives an hour away, so that sucks.  On the plus side I have like zero free time anyway so its going to be beneficial to jump straight to longer dates.

So, The Animaniacs are coming back. Judging from the trailer, it's been 22 years and not a damn thing has changed. Well, maybe. There wasn't much mention of any of the side characters besides Pinky and the Brain.
