I made a banana cake (first time) and it was edible, actually fairly pretty good.
My man liked it. He is being more understanding with my being out of work, what with the pandemic and all.
I was initially surprised he was upset by it so much, because he was furloughed too for about 2 months.
At least for now he's cooler about things. We're fortunately fine for now at least. I might get called back very soon I hear (reliably).

If not, sorry for mentioning them, thus possibly starting them...this is the Happy Thread, so...a brief look at local news suggests no riots, so that’s good however there has been a shooting, a car crash with 7 fatalities, a COVID outbreak at a care center[/transparent]

I have discovered a reliable way to pop the joint of my big toe closest the the foot, on each foot.

It is most satisfying.

Aww, I miss being able to do that on my second finger-knuckles.  Was a nice fidget.
I've been playing X-Piratez again.  It's had nice updates, including more music.  So many research topics.

Another recent development.

Even more developments on that front unfortunately result in a little bit of pain in the middle joints on my pinkies when I wash my hands - at least ‘til I pop ‘em - as a result of washing my hands so much since April.

use more lotion.  frequent hand washing results in dry chafed skin.
