Edit: also, I just remembered-realised that fox cubs are also called kits. Which is funny since kitsune has kit in it

That'd be a hard thing to explain to a doctor, "I read something on the internet and it blew my mind so hard that I shit out my brain." Well it would be hard to explain if you lived through it.

Anatomically, I doubt it's possible to survive it.

I shall defer to ChairmanPoo's judgement on this, and hope the Hippocratic Oath precludes lying to further one's own agenda.

Also, 15k as in £15,000 in "maintenance costs". Nothing else.

Swear.

But yes. It's pretty much a salary for pursuing what I love doing. Not a hugely profitable salary, but the alternative is paying thousands to do it. Which I can't.
Plus, continuing to work in retail at the same time will add a few thousand. So I'll be making a decent wage - more than I make now - while pursuing my interests. It would be sweeeeet.

Oh, it's a fertility clinic.

One where I strive to have my mind inseminated with knowledge.

Edit: Also, yesterday I went to a writing club for students (they dunno I graduated over the winter holidays, so hah!). It was very relaxing to talk to people interested in reading and studying again. As I said, i work in retail. I had become used to conversations revolving around football (which I do not follow) or cars (I know they go vroom vroom).

Nice to talk shop again.

I participated in a (Finnish-style) sittning today. It turns out that when two bands get together to have a drinking party, the drinking songs become more important than the drinking. I had lots of fun, drank moderately, sang the bass part of many songs and played a kickass mini harmonica solo.

Våra bockar och våra getter och våra fyrfota fän
De går i skogen och äter nötter och skalar barken av våra trän
Men mellan himmel och jord
Där står ett svenskt smörgåsbord
Och lilla nubben därtill
Den kan man ta om man vill

I thought Scandinavian drinking songs were all, like,

Skol Skol Skol Skol
Skol Skol Skol Skol
Skol Skol Skol Skol

Ad infinitum.

Kinda. Classic Norwegian drinking song is as follows:

"Ååååååååååååå
Såååååååååååå
Havna vi på fyllefest igjen,
Hei, skål!
"

Which, translated, means "Well, we ended up at a drinking party again. Hey, cheers!"

And that's the whole song. Now you drink.

I mean, we did at one point sing the "old drinking song from Turku":

Ai ny vai? Ny!

("Oh, now? Now!") Yes, that's the entire "song", after which you drink.
