I went into an honest-to-God comics and games store for the first time in my life. Packed wall to wall with comics, board games, RPG rulebooks, action figures, minis, manga and anime. I thought these only existed in the same dimension as Narnia and unicorns. Where the hell were these places when I was a little kid growing up?

They have scheduled D&D on Wednesday and I'm going with my best bud. I hope somebody there is willing to take on relatively inexperienced newcomers for a one-off

They've been around forever, but they get overlooked a lot because sometimes they're called "Hobby Stores" instead of the rightful "Gaming/Comics/Nerd Couture Store"

I had made that guess originally but it doesn't look like that would fit the location  and orientation of the cake

Guys cmon, it was a dice. The character is Suguri, in the video game 100% Orange Juice she is dependent on dodging, which allows her to avoid all damage from normal enemies and other player characters but makes her very weak against The Boss, which is the tar monster pictured, because he has two dice rather than one and in order to dodge, Suguri has to roll one dice and get a higher result.

Also, they seem to have a high chance of being located up some stairs / in a basement, or in some side-alley entrance in my experience. They don't tend to have high retail value storefront locations. So there can be a lot more around in a city CBD than you realize since they tend to be in low-visibility locations.
