An old widower once approached a mentally challenged lady and asked her
"why is it so that you are so intelligent, you who are just a mentally
challenged lady?" "The answer to that is because a mentally challenged lady
is only a mentally challenged lady if the a mentally challenged lady thinks
herself to be a mentally challenged lady" replied the lady. The widower had
never before heard such truth this well articulated, and after taking the truth
to heart, he died an old and happy widower.

Repeat the mantra: "my existence is pointless, my existence
is pointless".

Search for to hurt someone, expect reality.

An ugly man once approached an old mother and asked her "why is it so
that you are so great, you who are merely an old mother?" "Oh, the reason
for that is that I am certain that I have no idea what great means" replied the
mother. The man had never before heard such insight this well articulated,
and took it with him for the rest of his life, and later in his life, he died
unhappy.

Inspirobot has been mentioned yet again? IIRC, there's a thread dedicated to this.

Much less active than I used to be on these forums, but I still visit them on occasion. Will probably resume my activity in full once Dwarf Fortress will be released on Steam.

Hangs with friends, insanely good vegan nachos and my first time seeing A Fish Called Wanda. This evening/morning has been pretty much packed with goodness. Seriously that movie was crazy good. Kevin Kline's performance was just fantastic.

Also, earlier on in the afternoon I accompanied about half of said friends on an op-shopping excursion which was also quite enjoyable. I bought some shit, including some antique book of poetry and one of Irvine Welsh's books that I still haven't read.
It hurts not having enough cash to buy all the cool shit I saw, but I think I can live with it.

Edit 3: Guess I'll reuse this post for a happy.

I was playing team battles online in Smash and was teamed up with another player for 37 matches before they left. They were a fairly skilled Yoshi player, and I'm a decent Ike player. We won a lot of the matches, and most of them felt like even fights. (Although I self-destructed a little more than I'd like because the Switch seems very finicky on deciding between up specials and side specials.) It was fun, and took the grind away from working towards 200 online matches for that last achievement (~50 more to go.)

My favorite moment was when I took out both opponents (Piranha Plant and Samus, IIRC)  simultaneously with a counterattack, winning the match. It's probably been years since I last felt this cheerful, on account of my depression.

Another happy/funny Smash moment was yesterday when a Kirby inhaled my character and carried me too far from the stage to recover, but I dragged them down with me as they were returning to the stage with a well-timed kamikaze aether, taking them out of the game. I respawned and helped my Meta Knight ally put the beat-down on Cloud Strife.

I have gum disease!
That's a Happy because it is supposedly not that... well, it is pretty bad, but I've apparently caught it early enough that I should be able to stop my teeth falling out and my face from disintegrating horrifically because of it.

They're called limeys for a reason.

In personal news I got tired of having to think about and prep breakfasts and lunches so I made the dive into soylent.

Saying I'm on a liquid diet is weird but honestly it's done wonders for me even just two weeks in just replacing those two meals (with veggies to munch on for that full feeling). They have a caffeine version which helped me cut energy drinks out too.

Now I just have to worry about dinners and Saturdays (my "cheat" day) when I go shopping. Which is a huge relief since I hoof it to the store and back.

I've got meat cravings pretty bad but oh man is real food all that more satisfying now.

Given that I was wondering whether you had leukaemia I'd rate that as good news. But yes do get that sorted
