I had a loooooonnnnngggggg nap today, in the afternoon instead of working. Haven't slept that well in weeks.
Same with me, except I'm not happy about it. Damn times a wastin'.

I got to take a three hour nap today, after fucking around at the DMV for a couple hours.  That was the longest sleep I've had since Saturday.  And it will be the longest until Saturday.

But I got everything I wanted done at the DMV, with no questions asked.  Which is good.

Half hour naps are the best.

It seems like it's not a lot of time, but they feel so much longer.  When you wake up you'll feel like you've been there three or four hours.  You're really refreshed too.

I convinced a chick that the sun revolved around the earth and the earth revolved around the moon. I'm serious. She had to ask someone on the other side of the classroom if it was true or not.

That, and I made significant progress on Discworld MUD. Yay.

I find myself wondering where you go to school.

EVERYONE knows the earth is the center of the universe!

I heard that there was a hentai series that librarians occasionally put in the kids' section of the library, since they saw it was a cartoon and didn't know what it was actually about.  Fun was had.

I knew a Family Video (a video rental place) that would occasionally place porno in the normal movie sections by accident. Most of the time it was because they had names similar to real movies.

Oh yeah, I'll rent "Flesh Gordon", HAHA!

Nah, this is a proper, central library.  They get their books a bit more carefully than other ones.  They also correctly classify most manga books under "Young adult" rather than "Children's" section.

I just got home from school after probably doing quite well on an exam and making a few friends in the process.  But that's not why I'm happy.  The drive home left me drenched in sweat because of how humid it is outside.  I get in, peel my shirt off, and suddenly realize that I left my bag out in the car.  "No problem," I think, "I'll just go out and get it.  What's a few seconds outside shirtless going to hurt?  Gotta live dangerously once in a while."

The first time in my life I go out into the general public bare chested.  The mailman was waiting for me.

Why am I posting this in the happy thread and not the angry one?  Because it's fucking hilarious, that's why.

You're ripped though, so why do you care if people see you shirtless?

A couple friends of mine from school just got engaged, and another friend who has been having a long streak of bad luck is finally getting some karmic rewards.  It's gonna take a week to wipe this grin off my face.
