I agree to some extent. Not about belief in the fey (though I'd certainly choose it over Christianity by a large margin) but in their fickleness. For instance, the Greek gods. They're often cruel, even human, and that this fickleness be reflected in nature, including the human nature which they made.

I have a weird urge to try and make a smaller one but I'm running at the limits of usable wood thickness, available bolts, and actual cutting depth here so I'll probably stay with the little chunky chibi as the smallest... for now.

The delivery company I work at beat the tar out of some of the bigger companies this year in terms of packages delivered successfully.

The vast, vast majority of our delays were due to the bigger guys' failure to prepare and packages being rerouted to us en-masse. We cleared our warehouses of packages anyway on Christmas Eve.

No one was more surprised than me to find out that Bumblebee was a good movie. Also had fun with friends, decided to ditch my essays for a day and write a bit of my book.

Good to finally relax for a bit. What with working every single day for 8/9 hours and essays I've been feeling wound a bit tight.

The one in the back is actually a tiny little eyelash comb, she made a special request for an extremely fine toothed comb and I was like  'aight, on one condition: I'mma make it a tiny little lashsaw!' which unsurprisingly went over pretty well.

How new though? Saw my first notched-screen phone in person the other day while waiting in line at Joann's, and I'm not nearly as sold on those as I am the little bodyslide or popup or even just a clean little hole like the S10 is supposed to sport. Until then I'm digging the 1080x2160 screen and BLUR ALL THE THINGS camera on this moto g6.
