Hmm?  What do you mean?  No, the Absurdly Power Student Council trope (no link for the sake of sanity) is not active in our school, I'm afraid.  Might try to do some stuff about school uniform this time around, though.  Got into an argument on the first day of school about whether my trousers were denim or not.  Start as you mean to go on, and all that ::).

Also, finally switched from IE to Firefox.  Dunno why it took me so long, but unfortunately I won't be able to do so on the other computer.

I played games with my friends for 14 hours straight yesterday. This makes me happy.

I have finally gotten some form of psychiatric help yay!

Okay I wouldn't say it's made me quite HAPPY, but it's something sort of like that. Relief, maybe?

Those people never help for me.
They always get it wrong, I find myself correcting them the entire time.

No, they don't seem particularly bright in my case, either, but they're trying to, and trained to help, which I sorely need, whether I am the self-proclaimed genius I am or not.

I learnt that the school board techs, or at least some of them, agree with my viewpoint that linux would be much better than windows, and that the resistance to change is more likely coming from another direction.

Gah. My mother is a psychiatrist/therapist. Whenever she tried to help me with my childhood problems she got EVERYTHING wrong and was completely adamant about being right, and then she told everybody about my nonexistent problems. I don't think I'm going to a psychiatrist any time soon.

I finally got enough of my friends to find a common free day that I can start up a new D&D campaign. So I'm happy. :)

Central library opened up here yesterday.  It has a pretty impressive collection of books, and you can take up to 12 books out at once.  I'll probably start taking out a few Discworld books I haven't read.

Their manga section is also fairly extensive, so I may borrow some of those too.  It's self checkout, too, so you don't get the look from the librarian which says "Yeah, sure it's for young adults" (or, depending on the cover art, "Yeah, sure it's not porn.  Don't think I'm naive just because I'm a librarian").  They don't have Full Metal Alchemist or Deathnote though, which were the ones I was hoping to get, so I suppose that means I'll throw open the floor to random suggestions of what to read.

Does the library HAVE porn? Because there'd be no reason to think that a potential librarian would suspect you of checking out porn if they didn't stock any...
