Countdown to Demolition Man sex helmets.

You know, I have problem with that particular scene. Huxley did not really explain how the helmets worked, yet she was fully aware that John Spartan had absolutely no idea what a casual invitation for sex from his partner on the police force would actually lead to. She knows that he's a pre-millennium 70-year-old who just got out of cold storage and does not understand the full scope of the local utopian-dystopia's ban on "everything bad for you", and never had access to anything like those psychic sex helmets before he was frozen. She knows this because she has such a fascination for everything about the pre-utopian violence era, including her partner(especially her partner), that it's regarded as very unhealthy by her colleagues, plus she's had to explain upon the "everything you like is now illegal" thing more than once.

Despite all that, she never tells him what's going on, even as John looks on in confusion at the helmet she just handed him. Instead she gets disgusted at the notion of having fluid-transfer sex and throws him out, despite her noting that first-timers with the helmets might be uncomfortable with it(after trying it, when that fact became obvious). You would think a more experienced woman would take responsibility for helping the (technically)virgin with being more comfortable with helmet-sex.

I also found it odd that she got the guy she's had an obsession with for years an apartment right across from hers.
