Worst case, Toady needs to make an entire new forum, with no history. He's not gonna abandon the forum, it's what keeps the donations coming and therefore Dwarf Fortress going.

Plus if we weren't able to come here and bullshit we might start getting bored... and inventive... and productive... which is a problem coming from a community responsible for things like dwarven childcare.

I was a little productive today getting my vise cleaned up, reinforced the front jaw with a second piece of wood I fastened to the other piece with screws, the back jaw is held in place by the bars and pressure, plus it isn't slid back and forth enough to annoy me like the briefly unconnected double front jaws did.

It has been raining non-stop with only several minutes of actual sunshine (GAH MONSOON RAINS D:) for the past week, and we've suffered landslides and floods in several areas in the country (the former moreso in my areas), but I'm really glad for the people being decent and awesome these days in spite of all that.
