I was pretty sure it was a pickle but assumed it was just an in-joke.  I've got some pickles and some black tea, think I'll try that in the morning.  If nothing else, I do like trying weird tastes.  Thanks!

Secondly, this might sound a wee bit odd, but yesterday, i was at psychiatrist, and he seems pretty convinced that i have asperger syndrome. Now, it's not that i'm happy to be autistic (i am in fact extremely neutral about it), having a label doesn't change me in the slightest and i don't really care about it in general, but at the same time, it's nice to know what's (most likely) been wrong with me. I've been wondering for a long-ass time what's been up with me, since it's been obvious for a while now that something with me was just different from my peers. I don't mean like "look at me i am so different ha ha", i mean things like never quite feeling like i fit in anywhere, and even with friends and groups i enjoy the company of, i tend to just kinda hang around in the periphery overall. That's been pervasive in my life, and this offers a very good explanation. It's nice to have an age-old question answered.

Yeah, I felt exactly the same when I got diagnosed with Asperger 6 years ago (at age 33). Except I wouldn't word it as 'what's been wrong with me'. Just a little different, not wrong. I feel just as neutral over it, but it is helpful to know what it is.
EDIT Also, there's no such thing as 'an Asperger'. There's just as much variance in personality / intelligence amongst Aspergers / autistic people as there is amongst the general population, and the line between 'normal' and 'asperger' is, or can be really thin. First of all, you are you, and not some silly label.

Pickle juice is pretty tasty, and given the popularity of 'picklebacks' I can hardly be the only one who feels that way.

I fucking love eating vinegar pickles straight from the jar. If I only have two or three slices for say a sandwich I always make sure to lick the fork afterwards so none of the vinegary goodness go yo waste.

Salt pickles can go rot in hell though. Awful.
