In less joking terms, finding (legally avaliable) online screenplays for films I enjoyed and reading through them is very helpful for writing. Also reassures me that writing "character stares" is actually acceptable and not a sign I'm a bad writer.

Seems that the really bad caffeine withdrawal is over... While I'm not great, I'm feeling way, WAY better than yesterday.

In my own battle with caffeine addiction, I... seem to be no longer addicted to caffeine. I'm pretty sure I was mildly so at one point, but nowhere near as badly as my brother, who I've lived with in the past. He was really susceptible to caffeine addiction, though, kind of like some of the stories here.
I don't really get a buzz from coffee any more, though. I often drink several cups of the stuff a day, especially when I'm at work - and at work I generally pound down a can or two of Monster energy as well.

Right now, though, I've been drinking just hot chocolate for over a day (mainly because I just got home, am out of coffee and forgot to buy more on last night's supply run) and have felt no ill effects. No doubt I'll grab some Monsters on my way back to work on Monday, though, to prepare me for that ordeal. Yikes.
