I'm an uncle twice over, my brother and sister both have children now.  Haven't met my niece but my nephew is absolutely adorable.

Unfortunately for my brothers, when my nephew is asked if he wants to go somewhere he always asks if I'm going first....

Seems that the really bad caffeine withdrawal is over (I can only assume my body was going full panic as caffeine left mys system and nothing was there to replace it), and after an 11 hour sleep, my whole body's finished with making me feel like utter shite.

No longer shivering, bowels are back to 100%, lethargy's still there, but enough for me to suspect it's just the continuation of the caffeine withdrawal...

Wile I'm not great, I'm feeling way, WAY better than yesterday.

How much caffein were you having if it's hitting you that badly? You sure it isn't a stomach bug of some sort? I've quit coffee multiple times and at best it'd mess with my sleep and and I'd feel groggy most of the day, but never anything so severe as what you described.

Mm, my housemate's desperate attempts to brew coffee since his machine broke would probably be hilarious to an outside observer.  Rubber bands, filters, microwave "explosions" and a fine smattering of grounds everywhere.

I'm very fortunate to currently have little caffeine tolerance, so a single mug of tea gets me wired.  It really does feel dangerously good, not being so tired for a little while.

Summer must be starting because I've seen some extremely fine looking women today.

Almost as fine as all this pollen, amirite?

If I go without coffee too long I variously get, aside from a bad mood; headaches, shaky hands, a tense feeling in the body, difficulty to focus, and the same kind of "blindered dumbness" you get from being stressed out. I guess when I look at it it's a whole lot of stress syndromes.
