The silly english teachers never catch that one! You can show them the file straight up on the computer in front of them, and they will spend hours trying to make the spacing "Single spaced" when it already is!

I've had mint plants infesting my garden for a long while now, and they're really lovely plants. I never tried removing them because they are such lovely plants, the fact that they were blobbing everywhere was a source of great joy and free mint for me for the entirety of my life. Well - that is to say, until I checked again and to my surprise, found yesterday there were no mint plants left. I had noticed over the years these new little bulby plants moving into their turf, ones with wonderful little purple flowers, but I had never imagined that any plant could have actually outcompeted the mint plants. I had gotten concerned that perhaps I had fucked up by noticing the final decline too late, as these seasons have been marred by unusual heat waves and snow which the little bulby plants have fared much better than the mint - but in one dark corner, I found one last mint plant. Carefully uprooting it, I divided it into three, and am now tenderly nursing its population back up indoors. With one last mint plant - I am not too late to find it a new corner of my garden to infest, once its population has recovered.

Sounds like grape hyacinth, but those are blue. They naturalize lawns like mad.

I feel like any American walking into Venezuela would be like an African King walking into Alexandria and crashing the economy through the sheer weight of his personal wealth. That, or he'd be instantly mobbed and killed by desperate beggars and/or the government cronies who want an easy payday.

I honestly feel slightly guilty that my trivial part-time pay that I take for granted simply dwarfs whatever pay you get for your hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, Baal. I should send you a few dollars myself, but I always worry about being unintentionally patronizing, in addition to harming your pride.

In my own happy, it's hailing outside! It's truly awful freezing weather! It stings and hurts just to be outdoors! I have work tonight! Something about how bad the situation is provokes cathartic glee.
