Caught them on parts of his vivarium I think. It's two rows of five belly scales chipped on one edge, so I assume he fell over while holding onto his climbing log and snagged them, or wedged himself in a crack in his cork bark chunks. No significant damage done, but he's shedding more often to repair them, shedding once a month instead of every two to three months.

How'd he chip them?

Having snake sex a little too roughly? *shrug*

He's not allowed to have sex yet. He's not quite old enough to fall within the usually suggested guidlines for it, though he is a good enough weight/length.

Don't have any female snakes or room for babies anyway. Would like to breed him at some point but there's enough corn snakes around without me breeding more, plenty get bought and abandoned because people get them when they're little and change their mind when they get bigger.

Figured out the name of a game I played a long while ago, which I will also likely never play again.

I visited a thrift shop today and found some pretty nifty stuff--I got a cheap, reasonably nice-looking teapot, and a two-volume set of compilations of English literature, ranging from Beowulf to the romanticist movement. The books are from 1937; there's something fascinating about holding and reading something so modern, and yet so antiquated, recent enough to know the horrors of the first world war but too old to know the depravity of the second.

I find the occasional old book at work, at least. I have an antique copy of The Vicomte de Bragelonne by Dumas, with an inscription from October 6, 1938.

The Last Jedi is the first movie I've noticed in a while that has that big of a discrepancy between critic and audience score (91% and 48% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.)

I used to post waayyy too much. Nowadays I mostly just read the board once or twice a week and change the name of the topic now and then though yeah.
