One of my favorite characters from Genealogy of the Holy War (previous game to the one I'm playing (Thracia 776)) just appeared for a brief moment. When they said his canon parentage, I was expecting some minor mentions of that. No, game took it a step farther and gave him the tome that made him a god in Genealogy and you just watch as he decimates an entire army alone before taking his apprentice into your army (which makes this character 100x more awesome). Its also funny to me that in Genealogy, there's a point they make saying "Oh <name>, you can't fight an army alone!" and in the game where he's WEAKER, he STILL decimates an army ALONE. I get the feeling he's one of those guys that wins entire battles alone but takes no credit for it so his allies can be confident

Altered Carbon does not disappoint.  Starts out feeling kinda basic, but it gets much bolder with the transhumanism towards the end.  It's not perfect, but I'm ecstatic to see a work of its kind getting some serious attention.

I still call them cup noodles o_O I thought pot noodles was where noodles was served--in a pot, with broth and other condiments or veggies.
Someone on discord shoved a SC2 link--it was about an international tournament happening in South Korea in its finals stages. I was both happy to be able to watch it on Twitch, and that I got to watch a female player winning the championship (the last games were intense, which meant the whole thing). As far as I know, this has never happened in the history of forever. And she's a humble player!

I keep hearing people (usually British) talk about pot noodle, however, on checking it might be an actual brand and not what they're calling all cup noodles. The Pot Noodle brand is especially disgusting apparently.

While only a related product, I have finally found a palatable (if highly bad for you) way to consume Maruchan chicken ramen. (You know, the most generic, horrible ramen there is.)

You need:

Frozen tatertots
Frozen veggies of some sort
sesame oil
Heavy cream

Unwrap, bowl, and add water to the ramen as normally indicated, but add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sesame oil to the water. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
Remove from microwave, cover, and set aside. Place tatertots and veggies in microwave safe dish, microwave until cooked.
Add 4tbs heavy whipping cream to the ramen, stir viggorously, then add cooked veggies.

Enjoy.
