Got some new fish today to finish off the new tank.

Got a pearlscale goldfish (one of the more mutated breeds really, but I find them cute the same way some people like pugs I guess) with a very nice colour. Pearlscales tend to be block pale or deep orange, this one is white dappled with deep orange. Going to call him Borpington after the Unexpectables character. He seems to be settling in well already.

Also got 8 gold white cloud mt. minnows. Little things, but they're pretty and shoal happily with other small fish like my danios. They'll need a bit more time to settle I think, it took the danios a day to settle, so I expect something similar with them.

Lastly I got 2 weather loaches, bigger ones than I really wanted, but still on the small side. They should help hoover up detritus and they tickle my snake-like fish fancy. They're already rummaging around in the gravel, but I may want to get something broad and flat for them to hide under.
