Got my hair trimmed down to a 4 on my trimmers.

I'm not completely weirded out by it, which is a good sign that it's, at the very least, not a catastrophic look on me.

How do you shave the back of your head? Tried this a few weeks ago, first time so I spent hours trying to not look like a tit, but I know the hair on the back of my head is longer than everywhere else, with the possible exception of around my ears.

So, today's the solstice!  Happy shortest(/longest) day!
Whether you hold a spiritual reverence for the day, it's pretty special (in non-equatorial areas).  Personally, I'm using the day to go through old hard drives for old memories and abandoned projects.  Reinforce my identity a bit before the hubbub of Xmas (;

(I find equinoxes easier to celebrate.  Solstices are either deliriously hot or dominated by The Holidays.  Still, it's an important event!)

I finally have a proper kettle.  It's stovetop rather than electric, but it plus some ginger root should help to get me through what's now my third or fourth week of constant illness.

Also happy: the holidays are over and done with as far as I'm concerned, which means I can genuinely relax.
