Fun in the Masteral Program :D

Me and my partner probably scored very high in a finals project, which was to do a video on therapy and counseling where one has to play the counselor and the other being the client/counselee (I was the latter), and the class would critique it. This is the same 6-person class as before in previous posts. We decided on eclectic therapy (that is, 'select and pick best method to context', which is the most used one in modern time), and decided to not use a script but let it free-flow as it goes.
The whole video took 37 minutes to shoot when it was originally planned to be 15 minutes, and it was all the more humorous when there was a clock right behind me that our instructor took note of, when she commented on how my partner glanced at it when I wasn't looking at her. :P
Other than that, the 'warmth' of the communication, and body language/active listening, and the power of silence for listening, also helped.

I thought this was going to be very hard (since I disliked hearing my voice >_>), and it was--I had to edit and snip everything to fit the time. But I'm glad at the outcome; we were applauded by the class and instructor after feedback giving and analysis. :-[ :'(
The analysis is more 'feedback for future orientation and preparation'.

...We decided on eclectic therapy...

I initially read this as electric therapy, which is much different.

That said, props on probably doing well, despite exceeding the time limit! Get the highest numbers/letters!

Finally got my new, 12"-thick memory foam mattress set up to sleep on. It feels good to lie down on it.

Also, my rice cooker arrived in the mail. So hooray for easy rice.

Sorry, that's just a front so we can find out if there are any left. Unfortunately, I suspect the wild Pict was hunted to extinction many years ago. It's their own fault for tasting so damn delicious.

It is snowing in Texas.

In other news, hell has frozen over and pigs are flying.

It is snowing in Texas.

Unfortunately, it stopped in my part. Shame. Was hoping school would get delayed or cancelled, but who knows, right?

To be honest, the way the school’s been this year, destruction and cancellation might not be mutually inclusive any more.

It is Texas; I’m sure a fine dusting of snow will make everyone panic and forget how to operate as humans and expect the apocalypse, abandoning all hope and shutting themselves in their homes, weapons trained on all entry points, just in case.

This happened last time it snowed in Georgia. And then every state that actually receives snow proceeded to make fun of us.

That said, school has not cancelled finals for the day yet, and I doubt they will.

The snow is a happy, though. :)

I have it on good authority that Texans lose all ability to drive when it snows.

Or sleets.

Or rains.

Or drizzles.

Edit: (to be clear, because they have no experience driving on wet or snowy roads, so many Texans assume that driving faster equals more traction)
