I am, artistically, in a good place I think. I believe I have contrived to sell another novel cover commission, and I've been doing some animation work for a streamer.

It feels nice to be productive.

First attempt at a homemade soda drink went well. Mixed seltzer water with blueberry syrup, tasted pretty decent.

The animations are still pending some revisions (but I'll post them when they're done), and the commission doesn't actually exist as such yet. :P

I don't start work on commissions until the money arrives in my account, which is waiting for the client's pay day. But when I've got something to show, I will post it.

I actually didn't think it was all that exciting a trailer.

Haven't watched the Infinity War trailer yet... but I just finished Punisher.

I think I need some time to digest, but... first feeling after finishing it is I think it might be the best of the Netflix Marvel shows.  It had the most to say about its theme.  Went for substance over style.  I think everyone expected a nonstop furious rampage of unstoppable bad guy brutalization.  It wasn't that at all.

Really? You've given Inhumans a try?

Joking of course. I just take great glee in anything to do with their attempts to kill the mutant franchise failing or just being plain bad.

Avengers Infinity War trailer.

That goddamn music gave me goosebumps.
It looks good, but it also looks like its going to need 6 hours for the story they want to tell.  So I'm going to have to come down as a pessimist here.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

That's why it's going to be 2 movies.  Probably long ones.

I saw the first Hunger Games, was not really impressed. Acting felt sub-par (notably for the villains), dialogue was kinda hammy. I guess the "teen novel" thing really comes through.

It’s just a repackaged Battle Royale, really. A much less interesting one.
